When I decided to take a few classes last year, I knew I would need to take a few things off of my plate. One of the things that I crossed off the list was participating in swaps. This year, I have no classes and made my return to swaps by participating in Kelly'sGood Things Swap. And I'm so glad I did! I got Allison as a partner. I have been a fan of her Etsy shop, Annie & Jack Designs, for a long time and was so excited to get my hands on some of her goodies. My favorite thing has to be that key fob - so easy to find my keys in my purse now! Now, if I could just remember where I put them down when they are not in my purse, we would be in business. I think I might be a good candidate for this product, if only I could whistle.
I just thought you should know that Beth over at Modern Jax is hosting a super fun Scrappy Christmas Block Swap. Sign-ups end on August 1st. I am so looking forward to a fab Christmas quilt this year! Thanks Beth!
I was lucky enough to participate in Elizabeth's Vintage Sheet Swap and I opened my mailbox to find my package of fat quarters on Saturday. Hooray! I've seen pictures of other's packagespoppingupall over blogdom, so I thought I'd share mine. I'm especially taken with the one on the top of the right pile - such lovely brightness.
Now I think it's time to get to some of those doll quilts and wall hangings I keep wanting to do - it's been too long since I've made a quilt!
