such a good idea! Do you mind sharing some of your dinner ideas? What do you do for lunches?

thank you!

Hey, when are you coming down this way to get me organized? That looks like a great system. This year I have actually resolved that it is OK once in a while that everyone eats while standing in the kitchen eating whatever is on hand..sometimes it is cereal for dinner. My grandma is turning over at the thought!

Great ideas. I should do this. I've done similar things before, I just fall off the planning wagon after a while. Time to get back on!

Thanks for sharing...it looks easy enough to be doable...I'm going to give it a try. I've tried so many menu-planning systems before...and haven't been too successful...but this one has me motivated again!

I'm impressed with the organization. I need more of that. Instead it is 5pm and I'm like what should I make for dinner??

i just posted something VERY similar to this on my blog! http://fivedotdesign.blogspot.com/2008/09/my-100th-post.html
have you found any snags in the plan or has it run pretty smoothly?

That's a great idea. I can rarely find a group of meals my whole family likes to eat. I don't think I could plan more than a week ahead :-)

I've started meal planning as well! I hate hate hate that "what's for dinner" conversation on our way home from work, tired and hungry. My "system" isn't nearly as organized as yours, but it does involve a cute notepad and different color pens, which is fun. I see that you're posting recipes too, we'll have to check them out!

Smart, smart, smart! I have my meal plans on my computer calendar, but they aren't sorted by ingredients and all that. Good for you!

Wow! That is very impressive. I'll have to think about this one. I'm afraid of doing all the work and then falling back into previous habits and not use it.
