We took a trip to see our family this weekend and do a little birthday celebrating for our boys. Ned's birthday is in a couple of weeks and since we probably won't make it down again until after our move, we took advantage of the holiday weekend and packed in a lot of fun!
We played in the fountain.
We had a party and were happy that everyone was willing to be outside with us in the slightly chilly weather and all those who helped out. We were also grateful that the rain held off until after our party.
At the party, we flew kites.
We blew bubbles.
And ate cupcakes.
I was so happy to see Missy (more pictures here) and Cayenne and have their cute kids join us. We got to see our new niece and visit with family. We all had so much fun (except for Ned who was a little tired and grumpy)! Thanks for coming to join in the fun everyone and a special thanks to my Mom who really did most of the work!
We had a fantastic time. You know how to party! ;)

It looks like such a fun party! I love the cupcake tower, especially. I'm such a sucker for cupcakes.

I have to say that was the most fun I've had at a children's birthday party in a long time--even though I looked a little blue from the cold. (My own fault. I should have worm warmer clothes!) I loved the bubbles, kites, and pinwheels. Plus, those cupcakes were so delicious! Thanks so much for having us. It was fun to see your mom and grandma again too and meet Ryan's family.

Those cupcakes look delicious! I wish I had mad web design skillz but alas I am blogger impaired. I found a cute little blog that does vintage designs. I was in need of a change! Do you have plans this weekend? I was thinking of going to a movie Friday night, wanna come?
